CRO-AM Connections is a mobile application and does not use traditional browser cookies. However, we do use the following technologies:
- Local Storage: We store your preferences, favorites, and recently viewed listings on your device using secure local storage (AsyncStorage). This data never leaves your device unless you choose to sync it.
- Firebase Services: We use Google Firebase for cloud data storage and basic analytics. Firebase may collect device identifiers and usage statistics to help us improve the app.
We do not use advertising trackers, behavioral profiling, or sell your data to third parties.
How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
- Provide and improve our services
- Display relevant Croatian businesses and resources
- Process and review user submissions
- Send notifications about new listings or events (if enabled)
- Analyze app usage to improve user experience
- Remember your preferences and favorite listings
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard practices:
- Cloud Data: Business listings and submissions are stored on Firebase (Google Cloud), which provides enterprise-grade security including encryption at rest and in transit.
- Local Data: Your favorites, preferences, and recently viewed items are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to our servers.
- Images: Photos uploaded with listings are stored securely on Firebase Storage with access controls.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may collect information:
- Google Firebase: Cloud database, file storage, and analytics. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Eventbrite: Event discovery and integration. Subject to Eventbrite's Privacy Policy.
- Apple/Google Maps: Location and mapping features. Subject to Apple/Google's respective privacy policies.

Data Retention
We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide our services. Submitted listings remain in our database until removed by you or an administrator. Local data on your device persists until you clear it or uninstall the app.
Children's Privacy
Our app is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
International Data Transfers
Your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States where our servers are located. By using the app, you consent to this transfer. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
